Arrived in New Orleans Thursday and have been enjoying the sights, sounds and definitely the food!
This shot is from the Palace Cafe on Canal Street. This is turtle soup with sherry, fresh lemon and fresh French baguette! Not usually a turtle eater but my sis encouraged me. I have to say it was delicious . . . although I feel a bit guilty saying so. A bit adventurous, but you must try local and regional cuisine . . . what’s the saying, when in Rome!
