Beers and Hats and Meat! What's New in the shop

It was SO much fun to design these 3 new pieces for my shop. It comes easier to me to draw things like beer and food so it was actually hard to stop there! Even though the Beer Lover and Carnivore tea towel or the Beer/Hat Pairings Print would make great Father's Day gifts (just sayin) they can also be gifts for those other folks in your life who are really into grilling or beer. Thanks to the KC Star!

I was surprised and thrilled when Alice Thorson, art critic for the KC Star contacted me to be interviewed about my business. It's so gratifying to have such positive local support! Click on link below to read the article.

Handmade & Vintage show: Park Place Sept. 13 and 14

Well Renegade Craft Fair was AMAZING to say the least. The weather and crowds were fantastic and I can't wait to do it again in December for their Holiday Mini Market! But now I'm concentrating on my next show which is coming up this weekend at Park Place in Leawood KS. It's called the Handmade & Vintage show and will have LOTS of artists, bands, food and drinks. Details below--hope to see you there! Click on the link for more info.

The Famous Bridge Series

Last week I posted the work from many Brooklyn artists celebrating the 130th anniversary of the Brooklyn Bridge so today I thought it would be fitting to show my take on that famous bridge, along with 4 other very famous bridges that I have always loved. This collection started with a wire sculpture (as many of my collections do) and then it kept growing and GROWING to include DIY embroidery poster kits (which I'm proud to say will soon be on the Uncommon Goods website!), pillow kits, notepads, embossed postcards, posters, and tea towels. Click on the links here to go to my Etsy shop or here for my website to purchase any of these products below.
